New issue of IRISH magazine published

The Fall/Winter 2017-18 issue (Volume 10, No. 2) of IRISH magazine should be arriving in the mail soon. In the meantime, an electronic version has been posted to the Notre Dame website

This issue is 36 pages chock full of alumni and school news, including stories about an alum Ivy Leaguer who is working on sustainable vehicle propulsion at Princeton; a 1970 graduate and nuclear engineer who believes he is totally blessed to be an alumnus; three sisters who graduated from Notre Dame, went to the same college and chose to pursue careers in healthcare; and an upbeat update on the future of NDPMA written by its founder, Fr. Leon Olszamowski, s.m.

The magazine’s cover story is about a retired Notre Dame faculty member who has taught art to more than 12,000 students at five high schools, three colleges, and yes, one jail, and has solidified his reputation as an artist from Kalamazoo and Marquette to southeast Michigan.

IRISH is a magazine devoted to the alumni and friends of Notre Dame Preparatory, Notre Dame, Oakland Catholic, Pontiac Catholic, St. Michael and St. Frederick schools.
