A big part of the beginning of the new school year for incoming freshmen at Notre Dame Preparatory School is "The Launch." Hosted by the school's Campus Ministry department, The Launch, held this year on August 15 and 16, is an integral part of assimilating new students into the upper school of Notre Dame. Vital information on high school socialization, getting involved, and what it means to be part of the Marist family, will be highlighted.
Students will be immersed in Marist values and what it means to be given over to the protection of the Blessed Mother while attending a Marist school. Freshmen will have the opportunity to gain insight into their personality, as well as an opportunity to appreciate what others have to offer.
Students also will receive their Notre Dame Preparatory School e-mail address, log-in and password information, as well as hear from Jamie Rodda, the school's freshman counselor. Most importantly, the Launch is a great opportunity for freshmen to meet many new people—fellow students, especially—before the start of school.
More information will be available as the dates approach.
