Notre Dame Lower School is a Catholic, co-educational day school for students in Junior Kindergarten (age 3 & 4) through Grade 5. We are an authorized International Baccalaureate World School offering the Primary Years Programme (PYP). The PYP focuses on the development of the whole child as an inquirer, both in the classroom and the world outside.
The educators at Notre Dame Lower School prepare students for the next step in their educational ladder: Notre Dame Middle School. Fifth grade students who demonstrate overall academic fitness and good citizenship will earn promotion to our 6th grade, where they will have the opportunity to continue with the IB curriculum. Lower School graduates are well-equipped to succeed in the Middle School, later at Notre Dame Preparatory School, and eventually at fine colleges and universities throughout the world.
