Notre Dame’s middle-division robotics teams compete well with high school teams

Notre Dame’s new middle school robotics teams, part of the “Mildly Aggressive Bees,” fared well on Saturday at their first tourney at Kettering University.

Even though most of the other teams were from high schools, all three of the school's 8th grade teams made it into the finals.

A total of twenty NDPMA students on six teams compete against 30 other teams of mostly high school students at the event. The teams have put a lot of hard work into building their robots.

8th-Grade Teams

3333Y — The Queen Bees (Jaimie Krankel and Manath Mohindra) were the #7 alliance captain.
3333J — (Josh Lyijynen, Lee Lindsey, and Jonathan Hubbard) made it into the semi-finals.
3333Z — (Trevor Rowe, Sean Chaiyasate, and Joe Schiefer) made it into the finals.
