Notre Dame Prep Hosts Big College Fair

On Monday, March 30, 2015, Notre Dame Prep held its 17th annual College Fair on the school's Pontiac campus.

About 85 universities and institutions of higher learning from 18 states were on hand to participate in the event, including the University of Notre Dame, Marquette University, University of Michigan and the U.S. military academies, according to Notre Dame counselor Margie Willis Bond, who helped organize the event.

During the fair, sophomores, juniors and seniors (and parents) were provided materials and advice on applications, required courses, campus and dorm life, letter writing, college selection and financial aid.

Last year, nearly 900 students and parents visited with representatives of the colleges and universities, who were set up in the Notre Dame gymnasium. In addition to NDP students, juniors and seniors from Detroit Loyola High School, Pontiac High School, Lutheran Northwest and Oakland Christian are invited to meet with the college representatives on the Notre Dame campus.
