11th annual Oktoberfest another big success; volunteers of the year also named.
Notre Dame’s Corporate President Fr. Leon Olszamowski, s.m., prepares to draw the winning $50,000 Super Raffle ticket at the October 6th Oktoberfest celebration on the school’s Pontiac campus.
The proceeds from the raffle will help Notre Dame with financial aid, continuing technology upgrades for the students and other classroom enhancements.
Hundreds of Notre Dame families, alumni, faculty, staff and friends attended the celebration, which featured cocktails, a special barbecue dinner and music.
Also, at Oktoberfest, the following members of the Notre Dame school community were named 2018 Volunteers of the Year: Brent and Jennifer Bassett, Karen Kowalczyk, Leslie Czarnecki and Brian Dooley. Congratulations!
