Notre Dame Prep freshmen (from left) Richie Frost, Chase Glasser and Anthony VanDieren earned a win Saturday at the National History Bowl regional competition held at Detroit Catholic Central.
In addition, Glasser and VanDieren were finalists in the National History Bee individual competition, held the same day, where Glasser placed second and VanDieren placed in the top eight. Both boys qualified for the National History Bee competition, which also is held in Washington on April 26 and 27.
About The National History Bowl
The National History Bowl is a history quiz competition for teams of students throughout the United States. Founded in 2010, The National History Bowl is looking forward to its fourth school year of qualifying tournaments, leading to the National Championships in Washington, DC, and Arlington, Va., in April 2014.
