Grads once again put together ‘all-star’ numbers.
If you were keeping score like one might do at a major league baseball game, Notre Dame’s Class of 2015—which celebrated commencement on May 17—once again put together a box score worthy of “all-star” status.
For example, according to figures released by Notre Dame Prep’s counseling department, this year’s class of graduating seniors earned an amazing total of $20,381,540 to date in academic scholarships from colleges and universities. That record total amount of dollars works out to a more than $113,000 average for each member of the class, which shatters by far the $88,000 mark set the last two years, which itself was a record for any year in the history of the school.
So let’s sharpen the pencil and do the math for Notre Dame’s 2015 "all-star team”. . .
Class of 2015
Graduates: 180
Valedictorians: 28
Average grade point average for valedictorians: 4.422
Average ACT score for entire class: 27.2
Graduates scoring 30 or higher on ACT: 52
