This week features another major milestone in the new lower division project. All of the classroom and office furniture has been moved into the new building and lower division teachers are busy setting up their classrooms.
Outside the building, landscaping is nearly complete and the parking lot will be striped this week.
Typical of faculty reactions to the new facilities comes from third-grade teacher Bob Patterson:
"I walked in the other day and was just in awe of how well done and put together everything was. I appreciate how the design was modeled after the main campus with landscaping, flooring, lockers and other details. Just awesome!!! I am excited to start this school year in my new home and I know the kids will love it as well. Can't wait to see the students faces as they enter our new building on the first day school."
The first full day of school is August 22.
