In honor of Veterans Day 2015, members of the Notre Dame advancement office volunteered their time and talents today at the Grace Centers of Hope, which is located in Pontiac, Mich.
The Grace Centers of Hope (GCH) provides "faith-based outreach to homeless and disadvantaged individuals and families. GCH also provides a full recovery and rehabilitation campus for homeless men, women and children who have been abused or addicted to drugs and/or alcohol."
Advancement staff members pitched in to help the GCH kitchen prepare meals for residents. In addition, the advancement office donated milk, eggs, cheese, ground beef, broccoli, lettuce, pancake batter and potatoes to the center.
