Twenty-eight teams participated in Saturday’s Charlotte Public Schools (Lansing Area) Fall Tournament for VEX IQ robotics and for Notre Dame’s four teams, it was a big day.
Only 10 teams made the finals, and all four of Notre Dame’s teams made the cut, eventually coming home with all of the awards given out Saturday at Charlotte Upper Elementary School in Charlotte, Mich.
Team 3333Z: Adam Walker, Josh Lyijynen, Nikhil Simon, and Josef Schiefer won the Excellence, Teamwork Champion and Driving Skills awards.
Team 3333P: Aaron Palardy, Payton Beckman, Ben Valade, Luka Cvetkovic and Teegan McLeod won the Teamwork Champion award.
Team 3333X: Charlotte Milback, Amishi Mahajan, and Valerie Nowosielski won the Design, Programming Skills, and STEM Presentation awards.
Team 3333W: Manath Mohindra, Kaylin Soumo, and Vanessa Larsson were Finalists.
