Notre Dame’s Lower Division Robotics Team Attains ‘Excellence’

The Notre Dame lower division VEX IQ robotics team received the "Excellence Award" at the state championship February 15 at Cranbrook in Bloomfield Hills, Mich.

The  Excellence Award is the highest honor in the VEX IQ Robotics Competition and its given to the team with the most well-rounded VEX IQ robotics program.

The Notre Dame team consists of Charlotte Milback (grade 5), John Milback (grade 3) and Aaron Palardy (grade 3). The team's adult mentors are Jerry Palardy and Andrew Palardy '12 (NDP).

This award qualifies the team for the 2014 VEX Robotics World Championship in Anaheim, Calif. in April.
