NAAPS named NDP volleyball coach Betty Wroubel Division 1 National Coach of the Year.
Three members of the 2017 Irish volleyball squad also earned membership in the NAAPS Volleyball Division 1 All-American team: juniors Madeline Chinn and Natalie Risi, and senior Gabrielle Shilling.
The National Athletic Association of Private Schools (NAAPS), headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, is a fellowship of private schools, Christian schools, and home school athletic departments throughout the United States of America.

Notre Dame’s 2017 Class B state champion volleyball team finished ranked number two in the U.S. by the National Athletic Association of Private Schools. NDP junior Madeline Chinn is an NAAPS Volleyball Division 1 All-American. NDP junior Natalie Risi is an NAAPS Volleyball Division 1 All-American. NDP senior Gabrielle Shilling is an NAAPS Volleyball Division 1 All-American.
