On Monday, March 30, 2015, Notre Dame Prep will host its 17th annual College Fair on the school's Pontiac campus.
Nearly 90 universities and institutions of higher learning from 18 states will participate in the event, including the University of Notre Dame, Marquette University, University of Michigan and the U.S. military academies, according to Notre Dame counselor Margie Willis Bond, who helped organize the event.
During the fair, which begins at 9 a.m., sophomores, juniors and seniors (and parents) will be provided materials and advice on applications, required courses, campus and dorm life, letter writing, college selection and financial aid.
Last year, nearly 900 students and parents visited with representatives of the colleges and universities, who were set up in the Notre Dame gymnasium. In addition to NDP students, juniors and seniors from Detroit Loyola High School, Pontiac High School, Lutheran Northwest and Oakland Christian are invited to meet with the college representatives on the Notre Dame campus.
