Notre Dame Prep Senior Gets 100th Career Goal

Last night on Notre Dame Prep's home field, the school's standout soccer midfielder Taylor Timko scored the 100th goal of her high-school soccer career in a league game against Bishop Foley. She reached the milestone early in the game and followed up with two more goals before the first half ended. NDP went on to defeat Foley, 6-0.

Timko's 102 goals put her at 38th all-time in girls soccer in Michigan high school sports history, tied with Elizabeth Aceto of Macomb L’Anse Creuse North (1998-2001), according to the Michigan High School Athletic Association.

The team is now 3-0 in Catholic League play and 6-0 overall. Next game is Thursday at Regina.
