Ever wonder 'what's the right thing to say to a talking rabbit?' Well many found out this past weekend as big crowds filed into NDPMA's cafetorium in spite of inclement weather for the Notre Dame Marist Players presentation of Disney's "Alice in Wonderland Jr."
Dates and show times were Friday and Saturday, Jan. 24 and 25, at 7 p.m., and Sunday, Jan. 26, at 2 p.m.
Alice in Wonderland Jr. is a stage adaption of the 1951 film "Alice in Wonderland" and it was created specifically for school and community theater productions. It's very similar to the film, with many of the original songs from what is one of Disney's big animated hits.
Producers and playgoers alike said NDMA's version of Alice in Wonderland Jr. was "a wonderful show filled with magical, amazing characters and lots of fabulous singing and dancing from some superbly talented kids! Playgoers were amazed by the sets, the costumes and the whole production."
