After graduation practice Tuesday at the Pontiac campus, 189 members of Notre Dame's Class of 2013 were treated to a lunch sponsored by the Notre Dame Alumni Association, which represents the alumni of Notre Dame Preparatory, Notre Dame High School, Oakland Catholic, Pontiac Catholic, St. Michael and St. Frederick schools.
The Class of 2013, which was offered a total of more than $15.5 million in college academic scholarships, or an average of $82,000 each, celebrates a Baccalaureate Mass and its commencement this Sunday, May 19, in the auditorium of nearby Troy Athens High School.
Two members of NDP's Class of 2012, Audrey Tatum (University of Notre Dame) and Al Smith (University of Michigan), as well as school vice president Andy Guest also spoke to the seniors today about what to expect as they matriculate to university and how Notre Dame plans to keep in touch with them in the future.
