Notre Dame's lower division has earned designation as an official Michigan Green School – Evergreen Level (20+ points) for the 2013-2014 school year. Evergreen status is the highest level a school can achieve. This is the second consecutive year that NDMA has earned Evergreen status. The lower division has been recognized as a Green School each year since 2007-08. School librarian Suzanne Braverman spearheaded the school's green initiative campaign again this year, but all staff members contributed by coordinating at least one of the Michigan Green School initiatives.
