NDP JV and varsity boys soccer to KICK CANCER this Thursday for loved ones.
DETAILS: BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH
Members of the boys JV and varsity teams will share a meal and learn more about "The Pink Fund" organization and share prayers for their loved ones or anyone they know who has been touched by breast cancer.
When: Thursday, Oct. 5th at 6 p.m. (JV) and 7:30 p.m. (varsity)
Where: Kozyra Alumni Field
Why: To honor deceased loved ones, or to celebrate those who survived, or as an inspiration for those recently diagnosed. Most of all, to show our support and to spread the ‘awareness’ to others.
How: JV and varsity teams will wear PINK soccer socks at this game. Both teams will be sending off Pink balloons in the name of their loved one. Varsity will also be handing a pink rose to their breast cancer loved one who is at the game.
The teams also will be donating money collected at the Oct. 5 games to "The Pink Fund.” A donation jar will be on hand at concessions during both games. All donations are greatly appreciated.
Everyone is invited to come cheer on our soccer teams and help us spread the awareness of breast cancer. Also, we need you to help us create a PINK OUT in the stands.
Go Irish!
