It's the bottom of the ninth inning, the final stretch, the curtain call. The month of June ends on the 30th, but perhaps more important, what remains for the NDPMA community is only a few more days until the school's fiscal year ends and the end of this edition of the all-important Notre Dame Fund.
Gregory Simon, director of The Notre Dame Fund, says the school has a goal of $500,000 for the 2014-15 fund, which, he says if reached will be the first time in the history of Notre Dame.
Simon notes that like every other private school, Notre Dame's tuition remains the primary generator of revenue for operations. "But the other major stream of revenue besides tuition is the Notre Dame Fund," he said. "Every single dollar goes right into operations, right into making the school an even better experience for students."
Simon recently put together a short video (available below) to help explain how critically important The Notre Dame Fund is to the school as well as how important it is to attain the big goal established at the outset of this year's fund drive.
