On Monday, the Notre Dame Prep girls tennis team defeated Academy of the Sacred Heart, 5-3, to take the AA sectional championship for the first time in school history.
Winning at 2, 3 and 4 singles were Hannah Preuss, Maddy Winarski and Savanah Litton. Winning at 1st and 4th doubles were Annie and Julie Boniface, and Sara Hanna and Mira Housey.
NDP's record is 6-1 overall and 4-0 in the CHSL AA division.
