Four seniors sign today to play sports at the college level

Four Notre Dame student-athletes celebrated in front of classmates after committing to play college athletics.

From left, NDP seniors Jennifer Ohlsson, Rhianna Hensler, Itala Gemelli and Justina Gaynor were honored today during a lunch-period ceremony after committing to play collegiate athletics.

Today, four senior student-athletes from Notre Dame signed national letters of intent to play athletics at the college level. Justina Gaynor signed to play soccer at Butler University; Itala Gemelli signed to play soccer at the University of Dayton; Rhianna Hensler signed to swim for the University of Notre Dame; and Jennifer Ohlsson has signed with Oakland University to run track and cross country.

Congratulations to Justina, Itala, Rhianna and Jenny! You will continue to make the Fighting Irish proud!
