Today on the Notre Dame campus, Trey Skalnek ’07 (NDP) of Skalnek Ford in Lake Orion, presented a check for nearly $4,000 to athletic director Betty Wroubel and the school's Booster Club. The money was earned for the Notre Dame's athletic department as a result of hosting this year’s edition of Ford Motor Co.’s Drive One 4 UR School event, which was sponsored by the NDPMA Athletic Advisory Council and organized by the Notre Dame Booster Club.
Skalnek Ford provided 2016 Ford vehicles for test drives in the main Notre Dame parking lot by members of the school community, family and friends. Each test drive resulted in a $20 donation to Notre Dame's athletic department by Skalnek.
All proceeds from this year’s event and from the previous few years go to Notre Dame’s athletic department.
