Longtime Notre Dame wrestling coach Vince Trzcinski recently earned an award from the All-American Athletic Association for "Outstanding Contribution to the Sport of Wrestling."
The All-American Athletic Association is Michigan's largest high school wrestling association. It was organized in 1991 by area wrestling officials to build consistency in the way officials interpret the rules and for the development of new officials. Its members "are committed to improving wrestling by officiating, teaching and showing sportsmanship at all times," according to its bylaws.
Congratulations, coach!
