NDP Alums Swim At Conference Championship

The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA), the nation’s oldest athletic conference, hosted their championship swim meet this past weekend at Calvin College in Grand Rapids and three Notre Dame Prep alums did their high school alma mater proud.

MacKenzie Chesley, a junior at Albion (NDP ’11), scored 30 points, finishing sixth in the 200 butterfly, seventh in the 400 individual medley, and 12th in the 200 IM. Kaleigh Mullen, a sophomore at Hope (NDP ’12), who battled a back injury most of the season, scored nine points, finishing 12th in the 100 freestyle and 13th in the 200 free. And Payton Hoff, a freshman at Hope (NDP ’13), scored 11 points, finishing 12th in the 500 free, 12th in the 200 fly, and 16th in the 100 fly.
