The Notre Dame Prep choirs participated in the Michigan School Vocal Music Association (MSVMA) district choir festival on Wednesday, March 26, at Southfield Lathrup High School. The school's chamber choir, Irishmen and women's chorus each received an excellent rating and an invitation to the state choir festival later this spring. The freshmen chorus received a high good rating.
Each choir was rated on their performance of two songs and the singers' ability to sight-read music at various levels.
The Michigan School Vocal Music Association is a state choir organization that provides performance and learning opportunities for public and private schools in the state of Michigan.
