A group of Notre Dame Prep students from computer teacher Katrina Palushaj's class traveled downtown this morning to the North American International Auto Show 2014 Education Day.
The Education Day began at the 2005 North American International Auto Show as an opportunity for schools to participate in a positive and valuable educational experience at one of the world's biggest auto shows.
According to NAIAS officials, Education Day welcomes school groups of all ages including college level and promises to offer even more for those schools in attendance.
"The event is more customized than in previous years as the experience will be based on the classes that are attending," says NAIAS. "Young minds have the opportunity to become further engaged by taking part in pre- and post-show lesson plans, brief tours hosted by experts in their fields of interest, taking part in hands-on activities, and attending fascinating career-based presentations throughout the day."
