Notre Dame Announces New Research Coordinator

6565Notre Dame Preparatory School and Marist Academy announced today that Sheri Yanik has accepted the position of research coordinator in the office of advancement, effective July 1, 2014. In this newly created position, Yanik will be responsible for planning, organizing and executing a program of comprehensive prospect research that will improve the solicitation process of major gift prospects and result in increased support of the Notre Dame mission. The position reports directly to the vice president of advancement, Andy Guest.

Yanik has spent the last three years as the administrative assistant in the counseling office of Notre Dame's upper school. Prior to this, she held a variety of volunteer fundraising and communication positions at St. Anne Catholic School in Warren and has more than 15 years of experience in marketing, public relations and office operations at MacKenzie Communications and General Motors. In addition, she is a member of Notre Dame's softball and bowling coaching staff and is both an NDP alum parent and current parent.
 
Yanik holds a bachelor's degree in human services from the University of Detroit.
