Wroubel coach of the year, three players named to All-American team.
The athletic department of Notre Dame Preparatory School and Marist Academy announced today that the National Athletic Association of Private Schools (NAAPS) has named NDP volleyball coach Betty Wroubel its Division 1 National Coach of the Year. In addition, Wroubel's 2017 MHSAA Class B state champion team finished ranked #2 in the country by the NAAPS.
Three members of the 2017 Irish volleyball squad also earned membership in the NAAPS Volleyball Division 1 All-American team: juniors Madeline Chinn and Natalie Risi, and senior Gabrielle Shilling.
The National Athletic Association of Private Schools (NAAPS), headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, is a fellowship of private schools, Christian schools, and home school athletic departments throughout the United States of America.
