Help for members of the Notre Dame school community experiencing problems with technology and/or their tablets is now available nearly 24/7.
The Notre Dame student-led technology help desk, located in the media center, will be in operation every school day 15 minutes before and 15 minutes after school as well as during most periods throughout the day.
According to upper-school senior Madison Scheessele, who was instrumental in setting up the help desk, tech help will also be available electronically almost anytime via e-mail or Twitter.
Dubbed the NDPMA “SurfacePros,” Scheessele and her fellow help-desk students have established a Twitter account (@ndpma_stutech) and an e-mail address (surfacepros2014@ndpma.org) to help ensure that computer and technology help is never far away.
“With the Twitter account,” Scheessele adds, we want to promote our existence in the media center, share tips to common problems and be available to respond after school hours to someone who tweets or DMs us with a problem.”
