In a move to accentuate an already robust music curriculum at NDPMA, the school's performing arts department is planning to offer once again a Strings Orchestra course for students in the upper school.
Notre Dame Band Director Joe Martin says that a few years ago the school offered strings, and he’s looking forward to having the class on campus again. “I felt there was a need to offer a string class, so we put it on a survey,” he said.
“We are going to see how much interest there is. If we get at least 15 students, we will run the class beginning in the fall.”
Below is the course description, which is available online at http://www.ndpma.org/node/118.
