Senior Wins Top Prize from Auto Show Social-Media Contest

Notre Dame Prep senior Brennan Eagle learned today that he has won the 2015 North American International Auto Show student social-media contest. Eagle wins the top prize of a $150 gift card from MichiganIsAuto, an affiliate of the Detroit Regional Chamber, by sharing photos of his trip to the auto show.

Eagle and his classmates visited NAIAS as part of the auto show’s Education Day. Notre Dame’s computer science teacher Katrina Palushaj organized the trip in January.

“Brennan was chosen for our top prize of $150 for his post stating that Michigan is auto because he said ‘cars on cars on cars,’” Lacey Lambert of the NAIAS said.

According to contest organizers, students had to be participating in NAIAS Education Day and be at least 13 years of age in order to be qualified to enter the contest. The prizes for the contest included: three $150 gift cards from MichiganIsAuto, one $50 gift card from MichiganIsAuto and 10 Subway gift cards provided by Detroit's Cobo Center.
