Notre Dame Prep clinched the CHSL “AA” division title last night as they defeated Ann Arbor Fr. Gabriel Richard in straight sets, 25-17, 25-17 and 25-21 on senior night.
For the ND Prep, it was its 13th title in the school’s 20-year history. Leading the way for Notre Dame were outside hitters Katherine Carlson with 21 kills and senior Dani McCormick with 13 kills, two blocks and seven points. Senior middle hitter Ellen Guerra added five kills of her own to go with three blocks and Ashley Knutson dished out 22 assists to go with her nine serving points.
The Irish (45-2-1 and 7-0 CHSL) will travel to Lutheran North on Thursday to close out their regular season.
