Notre Dame welcomed more than 80 colleges and universities on March 22.
On Tuesday, March 22, Notre Dame Prep held its 18th annual College Fair on the school's Pontiac campus.
Beginning at 9 a.m. in the school's main gymnasium, more than 80 universities and institutions of higher learning from across the country and around the world were on hand to participate in the event. Those in attendance included Yale University, University of Glasgow – Scotland, University of Notre Dame, University College Dublin, University of Michigan and the College for Creative Studies, according to the Notre Dame guidance and counseling office, which organized the event. A list of all colleges and universities attending is available below.
During the fair, sophomores, juniors and seniors (and parents) are provided with materials and advice on applications, required courses, campus and dorm life, letter writing, college selection and financial aid.
Last year, nearly 900 students and parents visited with representatives of the colleges and universities who were set up in the Notre Dame gymnasium. In addition to NDP students, students from East Detroit High School, Pontiac High School, Lutheran Northwest, Pontiac Academy for Excellence and Oakland Christian are invited to meet with the college representatives on the Notre Dame campus.
