Two student-athletes from Notre Dame sign to play college athletics

Notre Dame hosted a college signing ceremony today for two senior student-athletes. Tariq Derrickson will be playing basketball at Henry Ford College located in Dearborn, and Kyle Lindsey has committed to join the men’s golf team at Northwood University in Midland.

High school athletic highlights for each student-athlete follow:

Tariq Derrickson (Basketball – Henry Ford College): 4-Year Varsity Letter Winner; 2015 Free Press All-North Honorable Mention; 2015 All Freshman-Sophomore Team; 2015 CHSL All-Catholic; 2016 CHSL All-League; 2017 BCAM’s Best List; 2017 Oakland County Top-10 Watch List.

Kyle Lindsey (Golf – Northwood University) 3-Year Varsity Letter Winner; 79.6 18-Hole Average in 2016; Team State Finals Qualifier 2014, 2015, 2016; Notre Dame currently Ranked #1 in Division II.

Congratulations, Tariq and Kyle! Go Hawks and go Timberwolves, but never, ever forget to “Go Irish!”
