Hensler Takes 100 Butterfly Title, Irish Place 9th

The Notre Dame Girls Varsity Swim team took 9th out of 50 teams at the MHSAA Division III Finals held at Holland Aquatic Center. The Irish scored a school record 112 team points in the meet. Junior Rhianna Hensler won her third 100 Butterfly state champion title, tying her DIII record from last year of 55.67. Hensler placed 2nd in the 50 Free, with a new Notre Dame record time of 23.68. Five sign on to play sports at the college level

Five Notre Dame student-athletes celebrated in front of classmates after committing to play college athletics. From left, Natalie Risi, Morgan Verheyen, Danielle Staskowski, Maddy Chinn and Maria Famularo were honored today after committing to play collegiate athletics. On National Signing Day, five senior student-athletes from Notre Dame signed on to play athletics at the college level. Notre Dame’s Maddy Chinn named top volleyball player in the state

Senior outside hitter learns of honor in special surprise ceremony today in front of student body. Notre Dame Prep senior Madeline Chinn was named Michigan's Miss Volleyball for 2018 today, and while it may have come as a surprise for Chinn when the honor was announced in front of fellow students today in Notre Dame's gym, it wasn't for those who know her.
