Irish Go 6-0 to Take Goodrich Invite

Notre Dame improved to 21-4-2 as NDP took the Goodrich Invitational, its second tournament championship of the season, going 6-0 without dropping a single set. The Irish opened pool play by defeating Frankenmuth, who was coming off of a tournament title at Croswell Lexington 25-19, 25-11. Big Second Half Lifts Irish Past Falcons

It was a tale of two halves on Friday night as Notre Dame earned a 35-25 win at Dearborn Divine Child to improve to 4-0 overall and 1-0 in the CHSL AA Division. The Falcons jumped out to a 19-7 lead in the first half led by quarterback Jimmy Seewald threw for 262 yards and two touchdown passes. TROY – The visiting Pontiac Notre Dame Prep Fighting Irish defeated the host Troy Colts 1-0 on Saturday afternoon. The Fighting Irish started fast, scoring just 2:27 into the game off a free kick. Mason Accetturo stepped up to take a free kick from out near midfield and sent a high arcing ball into the box.
