Notre Dame Prep repeat as CHSL tourney champs

For the second straight year, Birmingham Brother Rice and Pontiac Notre Dame Prep topped the field at each of their respective Catholic League tournaments. Rice reached the championship round in seven of eight flights and had four flight winners en route to the Division 1 title. Notre Dame Takes Annual Invite

Notre Dame improved to 7-6-2 by taking the annual invitational tournament held between the Irish, Flushing, Frankenmuth, and Birmingham Groves. Notre Dame began the day with a 1-0 win over Flushing.  The only goal of the match came off of a header by Peter Miklas setup by a pass from Nathan Mylenek.  Will Baldwin earned his 7th shutout of the season in the victory.
