The Notre Dame Girls Varsity Soccer team earned a 3-1 win over Livonia Ladywood to advance to the CHSL finals for the third consecutive year. The Notre Dame Varsity Softball team (21-2, 15-1) won its first CHSL AA division title since 2014 with a sweep of state-ranked Allen Park Cabrini 4-2 and 8-5. Caley Gleason picked up both wins for the Irish to improve to 19-2. The Monarchs took first inning 1-run leads in both games with the Irish answering to tie or take the lead both times both times. At the beginning of each season its been a key goal of every Catholic League team to earn a spot in the playoffs and have the chance to play in the finals at Comerica Park.
