Girls Ski Takes Division Two State Title

The Notre Dame Girls Varsity Ski team captured the 2019 MHSAA Girls Division Two State Championship, the first state title for the team since winning the Class B title in 2006. After finishing as runners-up in 2017 and 2018 the Irish were able to break through, finishing with a team total of only 64 points (31 slalom, 33 giant slalom) and besting second place Petoskey by 38 points. Bowlers Earn First Regional Title

The Notre Dame Girls Varsity Bowling team captured the first MHSAA Regional title in program history. Following six baker games and three games the Irish posted a team score of 3146, besting second place Warren Fitzgerald by 54 points and third place South Lyon East by 84. In the individual Regional, Theresa Carrier earned a third place finish and Sydney Newby placed fourth as both earned a spot in the individual State Finals tournament next weekend. Notre Dame Takes District Title

The Notre Dame Competitive Cheer team placed first at the MHSAA District competition held at Yale High School. The gym was packed with Notre Dame fans, parents, students and alumni cheering the Irish to a big victory. Notre Dame started with a remarkable round one, scoring a 238.2, representing the highest round one score reported by any school the entire season and placing them on top after the opening round.
