Boys Track and Field Clinches First CHSL Sectional Title

By defeating Macomb Lutheran High North 85-43, the Boys Track and Field team completed a perfect 5-0 season in the CHSL AA Division and secured a first-ever CHSL sectional championship for the Irish.  The Irish placed first in all “flat track” and throwing events, including two, 1-2-3 finishes. Notre Dame Prep wraps up another CHSL AA title

After playing to a tie on Saturday, Pontiac Notre Dame Prep and Divine Child met up again three days later in Dearborn with the CHSL AA championship still undecided. The first-place Fighting Irish (8-4-1, 5-3-1) knocked off the second-place Falcons (4-6-4, 3-4-2) by a score of 2-0 to claim their fifth consecutive league title on what was a cold and rainy evening.  A win by Divine Child on the slippery field would have moved the hosts into first place by a point with one league game remaining for both squads.  […]

Senior is CHSL Athlete of the Year, 2nd Year in a Row for a Student-Athlete from NDP

NDP senior Katherine Carlson has been named the 2015 Walt Bazylewicz Athlete of the Year by the Catholic High School League. Carlson was selected from more than 27,000 students in nearly 30 Catholic high schools in the Detroit area. Each year, one senior male and one senior female athlete are chosen for this honor.   Carlson is the fourth from Notre Dame Prep to receive the award.
