Bowlers Set Records in Win Over Clarkston

The Notre Dame Girls Varsity Bowling team defeated Clarkston 27-3 in a dual at Classic Lanes on Monday. In the win the Irish shot the highest team series in school history (862) along with the highest team pin totals in school history (1677). Freshman Theresa Carrier won both of her games, shooting a high series of the season at 371 (211 and 160). Swimmers Enjoy Record-Setting Oakland County Meet

The Notre Dame Boys Swim and Dive team enjoyed a strong showing at the Oakland County Championship meet over the weekend. Diver Alex Impellizerri started the two-day meet off right on Friday night by breaking his own school record for 11 dives with a score of 343.60, which was good for 5th overall in the county. Impellizzeri followed up his stellar diving performance with a personal-best 23.95 time as a member of the Irish 200 Freestyle Relay. Notre Dame debuts sports broadcasting club at basketball game

With the red-hot Davison Cardinals boys basketball team coming into Notre Dame’s gym on Wednesday to play the Fighting Irish, NDP students on the school’s new sports broadcasting team decided it was as good of time as any to put the game on air. Started initially by the school’s Varsity Club, the new “broadcast club” currently consists of seniors Luke Adams, Adam Sadowski, Noah Ford, Will Gurzick, Alex Shimoon, Ryan Collins, Andy Carpenter and junior Tommy Cavanaugh.
