On Sunday at their annual banquet, Notre Dame Prep's volleyball team will celebrate a season that culminated with a state championship, a season that by nearly every measure was an historic one for the Irish. Notre Dame Volleyball capped a historic season with a 25-16, 25-17, 28-26 victory over Lake Odessa Lakewood to win the program’s third state title in 11 seasons. The Irish won the Class B title without dropping a set throughout the tournament. The win marked the 53rd consecutive victory for the Irish, who did not drop a match since August 26th or a set since October 14th. Swim Earns Best Finish in School History; Hensler Takes 2 State Titles

The Notre Dame Girls Swim team broke the top-10 for the first time in school history, placing 8th out of 36 teams at the MHSAA Division III Finals held at Eastern Michigan University. Sophomore Rhianna Hensler defended her 100 Butterfly title from last year, placing first with a new DIII record time of 55.67. Hensler also earned another individual state title, with a win in the 50 Free, at 23.78.
