Irish Riders Take First Two District Meets

Notre Dame Prep Equestrian won its first district meet at Armada Fairgrounds with a total of 244 points for the day. Armada placed second with 170 points and Bloomfield was third with 135 points. All riders had huge accomplishments throughout the day, including sophomores Cara DeFelice and Kendall Lance taking top three placings in all of their events. Irish Get Sweep of DCD, Marian

Playing with a healthy roster for only the second time this season, Notre Dame Varsity Volleyball defended their home court with a pair of wins over Country Day and Marian. The first saw the Irish sweep the Yellowjackets, 25-12, 25-13, 25-9. Maria Famularo led Notre Dame with 17 service points including a match-high seven aces while also adding 13 assists and seven digs. Notre Dame Gets Win at MCC

The Notre Dame Varsity Football team traveled to Muskegon Catholic Central and picked up a 21-7 win over the Crusaders. Early in the first quarter, a Jacob Bendtsen interception gave Notre Dame the ball on the MCC 10-yard line and River Shea would give the Irish a 7-0 lead with a seven yard touchdown run. Later in the quarter, Shea would hit Michael Winiarski with a 10-yard touchdown pass to give Notre Dame a 14-0 lead.
