The Notre Dame Girls Varsity Basketball team improved to 5-1 overall and 1-0 in CHSL play with a 49-28 win over Riverview Gabriel Richard. Though the Irish trailed 13-11 at halftime, Notre Dame used a 27-5 advantage in the third quarter to take a commanding lead and put the game away. Jessica Ratliftt (13 points) and Celia Gaynor (10 points) led the Irish in scoring for the game, including 8 and 6 points respectively in the third quarter. Notre Dame is back in action next Tuesday as the Irish head to Lutheran High North for another CHSL matchup.
