Both the Notre Dame Girls and Boys Varsity Ski teams earned spots in the MHSAA State Finals with strong showings at the MHSAA Regional event held at Alpine Valley.
The Girls took the Regional Title in a landslide win, besting second place Marian by 71 points. The Boys placed in second, finishing only behind Rochester Adams.
Meghan Kozole (3rd), Delaney Flavin (4th), Natalie Uhazie (5th), KC Kennedy (6th) and Hailey Schindler (8th) all placed in the top-10 to help lead the Irish on the girls side while Joey Warsecke (5th), Jack Lintol (7th) and Tyson Lance (13th) turned in top performances for the boys team. Warsecke was also the individual champion in the giant slalom race.
Both Notre Dame teams will now head to the MHSAA State Final on Monday February 25 at Boyne Mountain.
