Both the Notre Dame Boys and Girls Ski teams earned Regional Championships on Monday at Pine Knob, marking the first time in school history that both teams have captured Regional Titles in the same season.
The Boys finished with a team score of 48, besting second place Flint Powers by 9 points while the Girls had a score of 31 to top second place Cranbrook Kingswood who scored a 70. Leading the way for the Irish were Sydney Lintol and Joey Warseke, who each took first place in the Giant Slalom, and Katelyn Kozole, who took first place in the Slalom. Notre Dame also received top-10 finishes from Meghan Kozole, KC Kennedy, Hailey Schindler, Jack Lintol, Nick Schulte, and Ryan Hoeppner.
Both teams now advance to the MHSAA State Final held at Schuss Mountain on February 26th,
