OLSM Comes Back to Top Notre Dame

The Notre Dame Boys Varsity Lacrosse team took on Orchard Lake St. Mary’s in an exciting game that ended in an 11-9 loss. The Irish jumped out to a 4-0 lead only to see OLSM roar back with a seven goal run of their own.

The two teams went back-and-forth from there as OLSM led 10-9 with four minutes to go. Notre Dame had four possessions with a chance to tie but couldn’t find the net, hitting the goal post twice.

Antonio Popp played outstanding in the net stopping 15 shots while Andrew Romzick (six ground balls) and Michael Robbins (two ground balls) led the defense. Max Stowe led the Irish on the offensive end with four goals and an assist. Also in the scoring column were Logan Currie (two goals), Will Caton (one goal, two 2 assists), Spencer Wittebort (one goal), Nick Pollack (one goal) and Joey Lopez added an assist.
