The Notre Dame Girls Varsity Tennis team took first at the MHSAA Regional Tournament this past Friday. The Irish finished with 23 team points, edging St. Clair and Croswell-Lexington.
Izabel Kruse (second singles), Olivia Heming (third singles) and Carla Hanna(fourth singles) were all flight champions along with the fourth doubles team of Sophie Mehta and Meghan Kozole. The second doubles team of Catherine Bennett and Madison Milliken reached the finals while the first doubles team (Grace Khouri and Eliana Gebara) and third doubles team (Olivia English and Abigail Wodrich) both reached the semifinals.
