Notre Dame Scores Early, Often in Win Over Farmington

The Notre Dame Boys Varsity Lacrosse team went searching for a win against the Falcons of Farmington High School.

The Irish came out hot and scored the games first three goals in less than two minutes but Farmington answered with a couple of goals to make it 3-2 early in the first quarter. Notre Dame settled in and scored seven of the next nine goals to take a 10-4 lead into halftime. The offense stayed hot the entire game and the Irish pulled away with a 21-10 victory.

Leading the scoring barrage was Max Stowe (seven goals, tw0 assists) with Spencer Wittebort and Matt Gaynor each tallying a hat trick and with two assists. Also finding the net were Andrew Romzick (two goals, one assist), Eric Gaynor (two goals, one assist), Will Caton (one goal, three assists), Logan Currie (two goals) and Austin Grief (one goal).

On defense, Joey Lopez scooped up four ground balls, Romzick had three ground balls and Ethan Johnson also had three ground balls. The win gets the Irish to 7-8 on the season with three games to play in the regular season.
